Reflection of Trouble Talk

1. (Do You believe people are capable of change? Why or why not?) I believe people can change, but it definitely depends on who it is, most people can change for the better, or for the worst, but personally, I feel, that some people cannot change for the better. A small amount, but still some people have not proved that they can change for the better.
2. (Do you think Bailey deserves a second chance?) I do think Bailey deserves a second chance if she truly is changing and becoming nicer. But if I was Maya, I would for for a while, until I know I can trust her.
3. (What would it take for Bailey to regain Maya's trust?) I think that it would take a long time of doing helpful and nice deeds, and eventually start trusting her again, but not trusting fully, just in case she does it by accident.
4. This story does relate to me because a situation similar to that has happened to me before, but I don't really want to go into detail.

Inside Out

Today I will write about a movie I watched about a young girl who moves to her new home, with 5 emotions controlling her. The main characters are Riley, Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, Fear, and Riley's mom and dad. Riley is usually happy because Joy is constantly trying to make all her memories happy, leading to a somewhat bossy personality. Riley is always rapidly changing her emotions, making it hard to move to her new home, leaving behind all her memories in Minnesota, where she grew up in. Joy is a very optimistic person, which fits her name, and tries to make as many of Riley's memories as she can, happy. Sadness has a personality which can be seen as an opposite to Joy's personality, being a very gloomy person, not liking happy things, while favouring sad things. The third emotion is Disgust, who has a very "socially knowledgeable" personality, knowing which girl is  the popular one, and knowing what clothes to wear on Riley's first school day at her new school. So that can lead to being easily disgusted by others, but she can be clever, making Anger madder so he breaks a window that's blocking Joy and Sadness. Anger, as his name suggests, is easily agitated by his surroundings, bursting or erupting flames from his head depending on his level of rage/anger. He is also bright red in colour. Lastly, Fear, the last emotion, is usually cowering in fear but has an amazingly fast ability to calculate anything that could go on in a situation. Now, we have Riley's parents. They have been shown to be very caring, and rarely gets mad at her. As shown in the movie, Riley's parents love hockey and skating, so it's possible Riley inherited her love of hockey from them. But in the end, it was a pretty good movie.
Brief summary:The movie is about a young girl named Riley, who moves from her old childhood home in Minnesota, to a smaller, more "rundown"  home in San Francisco, which leads to a lot of problems with her 5 emotions, Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger. Such as her losing memories that are very dear to her, her memories getting corrupted, and an inability  to feel happiness due to Joy and Sadness being sucked out of the "control center". So her 5 emotions must do everything they can to fix all the problems, but that leads to them having a time limit, before a certain idea is complete to regain Riley's happiness. Although along the way, they find a lost imaginary friend who helps them before Riley can accomplish the idea set in motion, because Anger, Fear, and Disgust lose all control of the control center.
Reflection: We watched this movie to maybe teach us about keeping emotions in check.
I personally thought this was a pretty good movie overall.
I felt there wasn't anything wrong with the movie, except Riley being the only character whose emotions are different genders. It also surprised me because it was a lot better than I thought it would be.
This didn't really relate or make me remember anything though.
I also felt there wasn't anything to be discussed about, in the movie, except for the sequel material with Bing-Bong.

Kindness

Kindness is not something you can buy, kindness is not an object, kindness is a feeling of greatness that you give, not get. Kindness can come in many different forms, ranging from helping someone to giving them things. When you get kindness from someone you don`t shut it down or not care, you appreciate the kindness and say thank you or help them in return, but when you are kind to others, don`t yell if they don`t return the favor, because that`s not kindness at that point. It`s falsely helping someone. So always try your hardest to just go out of your way to help someone, because it`s the right thing to do. So no matter what, always be     Kind.

Our brain may have lots of parts that creates who we are, but I`m going to talk about 3 of them, the amygdala, the prefrontal cortex, and the hippocampus. The amygdala is the part of the brain that has control over your several emotions, bad and good, and makes you react to them, such as the Flight,Fight or Freeze response to things. The prefrontal cortex gives you control over your body and actions, so it acts like a "headquarters" for your brain. It's also responsible for your reasoning. Then we have the hippocampus which stores your memory.
